The 4th of July = my favorite holiday
“FREEEEEDOMMMM” – Braveheart
As a Botti (my maiden name) , the 4th of July always represented farms, country music, ATV rides, BBQ’s, long boarding with my best through shut down streets, parades, hay rides, paddle boats, fishing, frying, cobbler, sleeping in tents, slip n’ slides, campfires, baseball, and of course freedom. Even before I knew what the 4th of July represented historically, I felt a true sense of freedom every year on this day.
Growing up in the burbs, I was always egger to trade in my fenced in 500 sq foot yard, for a day on the farm. Beginning at age 5, my family started celebrating the 4th of July in Molalla, Oregon on our family friend’s farm. I
think know this is where my love for wide open spaces, countryside, and farms began. The freedom that I felt running around barefoot through the wheat fields, tipping paddle-boats in the pond, crashing 4-wheelers, and the smell of a campfire, was what my soul craved from a young age. And it still does.
That’s why the 4th of July is my favorite holiday. It contains an abundance of freedom filled moments, the best kind of moments.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Jeremy and I weren’t able to celebrate like we typically would, but we had an absolute riot nonetheless. We spent the weekend in enchanting Ojai, California, floating on flamingos, sitting on swans, and dunking in donuts;) All with some of the raddest people we know. We rode motercycles, got sun burnt, sang “Springsteen,” played games, roasted mallows, BBQ’d burgs, and drank wine….. which leads me to this weeks GIVEAWAY GOOD!!!!!
This week’s Giveaway Good is the essence of summer vibes!
Talk about little wine, big flavor;) hehe
Copa Di Vino is America’s leading producer of premium single serving wine in a glass. Having tasted an enormous variety of wines over the last 7 months because of my job, I have credibility in saying that Copa Di Vino is not a convenience based low quality single serving wine like Bota Box, Sutter home or even Black Box wines. Copa is on point in terms of quality and their awards and accolades prove the quality in their cups!
Copa is an Oregon based premium wine company that was founded by James & Molli Martin, who discovered the concept while traveling on a train adventure through the south of France. A year later, they brought it to the US market, and the Martin’s passion for the brand has lead to the success of Copa Di Vino.
A premium serving wine glass that can go anywhere without need for a bottle opener, corkscrew or glass. Perfect of picnics, hikes and anywhere you want a premium glass of wine. Just open and enjoy anywhere anytime..
The giveaway winner will receive 5 boxes (each containing 12 single servings of wine) of wine, AND a wine cooler to keep your white wines chilled for the summer! You’ll get to choose 5 of your favorites varietals from; Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, White Zinfindel, or Cabernet!

This week’s challenge:
This week I challenge each of you to think about one thing that you really appreciate. Then I challenge you to actively appreciate that thing. Add value to it, encourage it, pursue it, dream it, do it.
