Ember’s Room
It’s about time I popped on here and gave you a little tour of the nursery. This is by far my favorite room in our house. It’s still not quite finished in these photos (and even still), but it feels organized, clean, pretty, and cozy. I love how it’s coming together.
When I first saw the ad for our house on Redfin, this room was what caught my eye. It’s a tiny little room attached to our master bedroom with a wood burning brick fireplace and tons of window light. Of course, I envisioned the nursery and the ease of being able to walk 5 steps from my bed to change diapers, nurse, etc. It also makes our master bedroom feel so much bigger the rooms are separated by a giant doorway with pull shutters, making it feel like one giant room.

Our girl Dawn Photography took these newborn photos for us and I will cherish them forever. So sweet and special, even though when it was all going down I could barely function – this was one week after Ember was born and I was severely sleep deprived, battling mastitis, and healing in all the other ways which we don’t need to get into… lol.

Ember is one lucky little lady to have to and Jer as parents. Her nursery is beautiful and I tip my hat to you for looking so fabulous in the newborn pics even while not feeling 100%. I have 3 (adult) children now and I’m STILL sleep deprived. God bless….
Love it! Clean, rustic, urban chic, and perfectly appointed for your little “Koukla” (Greek term of endearment meaning, beautiful baby doll).
Kinda mono-toned and sterile looking. Not even a colorful mobile over the crib? I respect it’s your style.
So sweet. Beautiful nursery, thank you for sharing with me. Xoox
So beautiful! What kind of flooring is in your kitchen? I love it and I am about to start a reno. Thanks
Really beautiful. Classic. Enjoy your gorgeous daughter!
Beautiful nursery, soothing colors, love the painting of the roses.
Lucky little girl and lucky parents. Some happiness and joy.
I think the nursery is very beautiful, but the products you used are SO expensive (minus a few of them). I don’t know how anyone could afford some of that stuff on a budget for a new baby. You are lucky.
Did you hang the “she is more precious than rubies” print somewhere? It was so beautiful!
Love the picture of Embers cute little foot
❤????☕
A colorful mobile above the crib or a few colorful throw pillows would make such a huge difference in brightening up the room. Its very beautiful & sophisticated. Just needs a splash of color here & there.
I’d love to know where your white off the shoulder shirt is from!?
Audrey–My baby Josephine was born just before Ember, and I loved the newborn prayer you shared on IG a few months ago. You’re a natural writer. I hope you’ll consider writing a book of family prayers to follow up Navigator’s Council!
Just gorgeous!! It looks amazing and your newborn photos are wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
What a precious nursery! We have the same diaper pail and love it 🙂 You three make a beautiful family. Our daughter, Joanna, was just born in October and we too are cherishing every day with her. God Bless!
It’s so beautiful! I love your whole concept of always more. I appreciate all the work developed, I love the lines of clothes and the necklace of always more and above all I love your blog. And congratulations for the baby Ember she’s beautiful! Love you all
